Coated vs uncoated

The same ink looks different on coated (C) and uncoated (U) stock. Match to the paper you'll actually print on.

Replace every 12–18 months

Ink and paper fade with light and handling. An old guide quietly leads you to the wrong colour.

Store them in the dark

Keep guides closed and out of direct sunlight between uses to extend their accurate life.
